Dharma School Students Make Thanksgiving Project

West Covina Buddhist Temple's Dharma school students had fun making cinnamon-scented candlestick holders during their Sunday School classes in November, 2002.

Dharma Schoolers began making their candlestick holders by gluing cinnamon sticks onto the side of a tuna fish can (thoroughly cleaned, of course!).

Andrew Kochi (left) and Ricky Leong (right) are given further guidance on their candlestick holders by Dharma School teacher Nancy Leong (center)

Dharma School students pose with their completed candlestick holders. When a standard small candlestick is placed inside and lit, the warmth of the candle causes the cinnamon to fill the house with its wonderful scent!
